By accessing or using OpenRounds (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

OpenRounds is operated by Eleven of Ten LLP (elevens.ai) (https://www.elevens.ai).

2. Service Description

OpenRounds curates and summarizes healthcare and AI-related content, provides personalized briefings, and offers CME-tracking related features for professional education workflows.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

OpenRounds content is informational only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment guidance. AI-generated summaries may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You must independently verify information before clinical use. OpenRounds is not a substitute for professional judgment.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully or in violation of applicable regulation.
• Attempt unauthorized access, interference, or service disruption.
• Reverse engineer protected parts of the Service except where legally permitted.
• Use bots/scrapers beyond permitted API or normal user behavior.
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights.

6. Third-Party Services and Content

The Service relies on third-party services (for example hosting, authentication, AI processing, email, push notifications, and optional integrations). We may link to third-party content; those services and publishers operate under their own terms and privacy notices.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which includes US, EU/EEA, and UK privacy disclosures.

8. Intellectual Property

OpenRounds, including platform code, workflow design, scoring methods, prompts, curation logic, visual identity, and original content, is owned by Eleven of Ten LLP (elevens.ai) or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Source articles and publisher material remain owned by their respective rights holders.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, create derivative works from, sell, sublicense, decompile, or otherwise exploit the Service or its protected components. You may not use OpenRounds data or outputs to build, benchmark, train, or improve competing products or models without prior written permission.

OpenRounds names, logos, and related marks are trademarks or trade dress of Eleven of Ten LLP (elevens.ai). No license to use these marks is granted except for nominative reference that does not imply endorsement.

All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Eleven of Ten LLP (elevens.ai) and its licensors.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for security, abuse, legal, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through available account controls or by contacting us.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness, or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, OpenRounds and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the Service.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Regional Legal Terms

US Users

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, US, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your state.

EU/EEA Users

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer and data protection laws in your country of residence. Where local law grants non-waivable rights, those rights control.

UK Users

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under UK consumer law, UK GDPR, or the Data Protection Act 2018.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the Service. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
